Agile Product Owner – Payments

We are looking for an Agile Product Owner with solid experience in the payments domain. The ideal candidate has deep domain knowledge of domestic payment systems, including clearing and settlement processes for Swedish Krona, as well as strong expertise in international cross-border payment systems such as SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX formats) and ISO 20022 protocols. Knowledge of European payment systems and clearing networks is considered a plus.

You have a strong Agile mindset and a solid understanding of frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, with experience leading product backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, as well as prioritizing and managing product increments based on business value. You are also well-versed in regulatory compliance related to payments, including PSD2, AML/KYC requirements, and local financial regulations for SEK transactions, and you have knowledge of FX handling in payment flows and reconciliation processes between domestic and global clearing networks.

On the technical side, you bring hands-on experience with modern financial technology stacks used by banks and fintechs, an understanding of cloud-based technologies supporting scalable payment solutions, and familiarity with APIs for payment initiation and reporting services. You have a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and UX designers, and you bring strong stakeholder management skills, collaborating effectively both internally with Risk/Compliance teams and externally with partners. Finally, you have experience analyzing transaction data trends to improve user experience and reduce costs.
