Data Solution Architect - Databricks

We are seeking a Data Solution Architect for our client's Group Risk team, focused on implementing a modern Databricks data platform. You'll be instrumental in supporting the IRB 3.0 initiative and IFRS 9 compliance, essential for regulatory and business needs.

You'll drive data architecture efforts, shaping new solutions and making key architectural decisions. Your role involves ensuring the alignment of development activities with target architecture standards, in collaboration with the Value Delivery Engine Architect. You'll actively contribute to enhancing data quality practices, while engaging in hands-on development tasks.

Moreover, you'll mentor a team member transitioning into a Data Solution Architect role, sharing insights and knowledge to facilitate their development.

The ideal candidate possesses expertise in data warehousing, data pipeline modeling, and data loading architecture, leveraging Data Vault methodology and dimensional modeling. Proficiency with Git/GitHub and strong communication skills are essential. Experience with dbt tools, Azure Cloud, Azure Data Factory, and SQL/Python is valued.
