Senior Data Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT. You'll be critical in leveraging Snowflake’s virtual warehouse architecture to optimize both performance and cost. Your responsibilities include creating and managing Snowflake objects such as tables, views, schemas, and implementing strategies for partitioning, clustering, and performance tuning.

You will manage and implement Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Time Travel, as well as external stages, storage integrations, and access controls. Collaborating closely with data analysts, architects, and business teams, you'll ensure the delivery of reliable data solutions.

Additionally, you'll monitor performance issues, troubleshoot pipeline failures, develop transformation models, and automate DBT deployments using Git workflows.

To excel in this assignment, you need extensive experience with Snowflake and DBT, a good understanding of Azure, and skills in CICD and GitHub actions. Experience with Informatica in IDMC and architectural knowledge will be advantageous.
